Happy Fall!

Happy fall from the Wayderfers from beautiful Colorado! It's been unseasonably warm, so I hear. With a high of 85F today, we were able to get one last day swimming and reading by the pool. We started off September with our road trip to Ohio for our baby shower with some stops along the way. We stayed a couple nights in middle of nowhere Missouri for some relaxing time by a river, visited Onandaga State Park where we went on a cave tour, and kayaking down the Maramac river. For a change of pace, I read on the porch while Andrew napped and tried to find internet connection to play his video game.  We made a quick stop by Lousville, KY to visit good friends Jill and Blake from college on their lovely farm. Next stop, Ohio! My little sister, Katelyn, hosted a wonderful baby shower. We were so happy to see so many family and friends. Special thanks to those that made the drive from Toledo and Columbus. Babies need a lot of stuff and we are so lucky to have so much supp

Sorry for the lengthy silence. Andrew has been lost in the wilderness of Colorado for the last few weeks, and Lora's only just now found him. He managed to accidentally take this selfie while suffering from heat exhaustion. Kidding, of course! He and Lora were out exploring the Garden of the Gods, one of the many beautiful parks here in Colorado. Bing Bong is much more person shaped than in previous weeks. Yes, we're still resorting to taking pictures of print outs from the doctor. We can't get them in digital, and we love our doctor too much to switch just for more e

Baaaa Sowenyaaaa Mamabeatsebabah Hi, everyone! Lora and Andrew here, writing from beautiful Colorado. In case you missed it, we're not really active on social media anymore, so we've created a blog to make sure you can stay up to date on what's happening in our life (for those of you who care).  Biggest, latest news: Lora is pregnant (it's Andrew's) and due in the beginning of December! From our latest ultrasound, the baby and its brain, skull, spine, extremities and heartbeat are all healthy. It was squirming around, seeming excited for us to say hi. Since it is probably bad manners to call your unborn baby "it", the baby has been affectionately named Bing Bong (aka BB). For those of you who have short attention spans, that's the gist of the need-to-know.  Here are the deets: Colorado has made for a healthier and much more outdoor adventure filled life for Andrew and Lora. We are living in northwest burbs and Lora works in Bould
